Lord Louis hires goods on the understanding that they will be returned in an undamaged condition and the customer will be responsible for, and indemnify Lord Louis against any loss or damage to the goods, at their current retail selling value, whilst they are on hire. For the avoidance of doubt, our customer is the person who hires and wears the garments and is therefore deemed to have placed that order.
All garments must be returned by the return date as stipulated on the hire agreement, or an extra 15% per day of unauthorised extended hire will be charged. Any merchandise that is damaged and rendered unserviceable will be charged at full current retail value as determined by Lord Louis.
Where outfits are returned in a poor condition involving specialist cleaning or repairs, the cost of such cleaning and repairs will be deducted from the security deposit where one has been paid. On hires where no security has been taken, the order will be hired to the customer in good faith. The hirer will be liable for additional charges if returned garments are received in a poor state involving specialist cleaning or repairs.
Suit covers and hangers are subject to a charge equal to the replacement cost if not returned or if damaged.
All returns are due before 10am unless agreed otherwise in writing.
These conditions are subject to change without notice and application thereof is at the discretion of Lord Louis management. E&OE.
