Lord Louis has the largest range of suit styles and sizes in KwaZulu Natal – and our experienced staff are always ready to assist you with advice on what to wear, be it for a wedding, matric dance, Debs ball, formal dinner or business function.

We pride ourselves in offering a superior service – quick and convenient, yet with the attention to detail and personal service you deserve and expect.

Personal fitting service
This includes a private ‘no obligation’ fitting at our showroom in central Durban. Out-of-town or overseas clients may reserve suits without this initial fitting, provided we have proper measurements and style/colour choices have been made.

During the week of the event, you pop in for a final alteration fitting appointment, during which minor alterations are done if necessary to ensure superb fit.

Conveniently situated
Our showroom is located on the first floor of 320 West Street, Durban. Secure and convenient public parking is available in the adjacent Pine Parkade, with direct access to Lord Louis via a first floor over-the-street walkway; there is no need to descend to street level. Click here for map.

Bookings
Your needs are most likely to be met if you book early. Especially in the case of weddings, where several groomsmen require matching outfits, a minimum of 3 months advance notice is suggested. If you need an outfit in a hurry, we will still do our best to accommodate your needs. Click here to make a provisional booking online.

Hire Period
The standard hire period is three business days. Sundays and public holidays are not considered as business days. Collection is normally from 2 pm on the first day and return by 10am on the third day, unless the event is out of town, when we allow an extra day on request.

Prices
Current basic hire prices [excluding VAT and a refundable security/reservation deposit] range from R175 to R450 per suit – i.e. for jacket and trousers only. Prices vary according to the style, not the size. Accessories, if required, would entail an additional cost to the suit.
